Directing at StageCenter
If you have been wanting to direct or recommend a show at StageCenter, now is your opportunity! We are currently accepting applications for directing along with show submissions. Due to a postponement, one previously scheduled show has been rescheduled for the upcoming season.
Anyone can submit a play, however, preference will be given to shows submitted with a director already willing to direct.
Applicants for directing should have theatre production experience at StageCenter such as directing, assistant directing or stage-managing. We provide opportunities to any community member interested in obtaining production experience during the current season. If you would like to gain production experience, please let us know if you would be interested in participating in one of our upcoming shows.
As you know, StageCenter has taken precautions to protect cast, crew and patrons during the Covid-19 pandemic. We have safely and successfully produced several shows during this time and encourage you to submit a show for consideration.

The deadline for application submission is February 28, 2022.
As an added note, please do not use StageCenter's name on the websites when you request the cost of rights/licenses or a copy of the script. If we choose your play for the season, we will take care of rights and scripts when your timeslot is approaching.
