New to Live Theatre?
Here are some tips that will help you and those around better enjoy your experience.
- Arrive Early and Enjoy the Show! We recommend being in your seat at least 15 minutes before the performance starts. Live theatre starts at the scheduled time. Unfortunately, latecomers may not be seated until intermission at the discretion of our volunteer theatre staff.
- Stay Seated and Let the Magic Unfold: Remain seated until intermission or until curtain calls are completed to allow performers free access to the exits. If an emergency requires leaving your seat, please remain in the lobby until intermission or invited to return by the theatre’s volunteer staff.
- Keep it Quiet, Please: Please silence or turn off all electronic devices, including phones, pagers, and watch or phone alarms. And watch out for those noisy snack or beverage containers. Thank you for helping create a serene and enchanting atmosphere for all!
- No Videos or Flash Photos: Video recording of live performances is not allowed due to contractual arrangements. And please don't take flash photographs during the show, as it can be distracting to actors and audience members alike. Actors will generally be available for photographs after the show.
- Choose the Right Time to Share: We absolutely adore it when you share your theater excitement on social media! Just wait until intermission or after the show to post. The glow from screens can be distracting to your neighbors and the actors in a dark theater.
- Respect the Stage – Keep Your Feet and Items Clear: Please refrain from placing your feet or personal belongings on the edge of the stage. This helps maintain a clear and safe stage for our performers and helps ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. And please do not touch any props, furniture, or other items on stage. Thank you for your cooperation in creating a wonderful theater environment
- Remember, We're All Volunteers Here: At our theater, we're a community of volunteers who come together to create unforgettable performances. From our dedicated lobby staff, to the talented actors and hardworking production crew, everyone here donates their time and passion to bring you the magic of live theater. So, when you join us for a show, you're not just an audience member; you're part of our wonderful volunteer family. Let's all embrace the joy of giving and share in the enchantment of theater together.
